Sam Saad Participates in 57th Annual Swamp Buggy Parade - October 24th 2009

Thousands of residents lined the Tamiami Trail in the heart of Naples on Saturday, October 24th for the 57th annual Swamp Buggy Parade. The event featured dozens of elaborate swamp buggies, fire engines, marching bands and local candidates for public office, including Naples City Council candidate Sam Saad. The theme of this year’s parade was “Return to the Everglades.” A total of 93 individual entries in four divisions marched, rode or drove the route extending from 14th Avenue North to Third Avenue South. Riding atop a large swamp buggy with a number of close friends and family members, Saad said “it was an honor to participate in such a uniquely Naples event.”
